Note that I have removed an NVidia driver from the Audio section just now and then also uninstalled the Recon driver and reinstalled from Dell Support for this model running Win 10 64 bit.

The drivers appearing in Driver Manager (two of them being Intel and Sound Blaster Recon) both indicate through Properties that they are working properly. I have just run the diagnostic found following and it found no problems: as mentioned previously, SOMETIMES I do get sound but for the most part I don't like right now. If I left click the Win 10 sound icon and switch to Speakers (Sound Blaster Recon3Di) I have audio through the laptops internal speakers, however, when on HDMI (Intel(R) Display Audio) I can move the audio slider up and down but get no sound. The problem I have is that sometimes the Audio through HDMI works and then if I restart, or shutdown/restart, the Audio may or may not work on my HDMI external monitor (40" HiSense TV). I have now clean installed Windows 10 after downloading the ISO through the Media Creation Tool after which I have applied a Pro retail license key. Prior to this issue I had Windows 8.1 Standard installed. Hoping someone can help me with an Audio issue please.
